Starting out with just a few hides to sell, we had very humble beginnings. We learned through years of traveling the globe sourcing hides and testing various tanning methods. What we found after searching through hundreds of suppliers was that cowhides are just not created equally. From the surface many look great, but then have issues down the road. Once online came around we started seeing most companies offering cowhides. They would show a picture of a "best case scenario", not the actual rug you would receive.
Our family business was never that tech savvy, but we knew it would be worth it to bring our rug offerings online but with a twist. Although many cowhides you see around the country may look the same, a year or two into ownership is where you really start to see the difference in quality in your cowhide. Differences in cowhide selection, A or B grade hides, incorrectly tanned hides, or hides not tanned long enough. These are all problems you can be faced with that lead to problems such as stiffness, hair shedding, curling, and inconsistency of sheen. We simply do not sell this grade of product as it is a disservice to a client trying to beautify their home.
When we pick our hides out for tanning we go through piles of 1000's of hides to pick out only the top 10-15% of hides. Our tanning process is ISO 9001 certified which means we use quality management steps to produce the same results repeatedly. We believe in complete transparency from the moment you arrive to our site, so we let you know exactly what rug you will receive, where the rug is from, and provide a certificate of authenticity for your new cowhide rug.

Will I receive the rug that is pictured?
Yes, we individually photograph each rug so you will get exactly what you see online.
What if I do not like the rug or it does not fit my space?
That is not a problem, you have 30 days to return or exchange your purchase for any reason.
How do I keep my cowhide clean?
You can regularly vacuum the rugs without any issue. For stains, spills, or animal accidents, we recommend using a damp washcloth with some soap. Additionally, you can steam clean your rug if you have any major stains.
How are the sizes measured?
We measure our cowhides from the two widest points and the two tallest points on the rug.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, of course! We ship worldwide but additional shipping rates may apply.
What is the difference between Brazilian and European hides?
Brazilian rugs are going to be slightly thicker and have a shinier coat to them whereas our European line tends to have more sought after patterns and colors. Both are great quality products that we hand select to ensure you are getting the best possible product.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Sales tax will not be charged for orders outside of the state of Florida.
Can I order two of the same rug?
Cowhides are naturally one of a kind so we only have one of each. However, we would be happy to try and find you a cowhide that best matches what you choose.
How long does it take to ship?
Orders are generally shipped same day if received before 3pm although it can take up to 48 hours for your order to be processed. Ship times are generally 2-5 business days depending on where you are located. We ship out of Florida.
Do you offer any sort of warranty?
Extended warranty plans are available during checkout and the warranty would cover you against any stains, rips, or tears that could occur in the worse case scenario.
